I was born and raised in Georgetown, Idaho. I graduated from the Vocational-Technical program at Idaho State University in Office Occupations with a Legal Option. I worked for a law firm as a legal secretary in Pocatello, ID for several years before starting my family. That experience served me well with an inside look into the legal system. I am married and have three grown children, a daughter-in-law and one grandson. My family is what makes me tick and I love spending time with them. While raising my family I dabbled in many direct sales businesses. However, as the kids grew a little older I began to pursue a career in the insurance industry.
I obtained my Property & Casualty license and worked for an independent agency for a time. I later moved to Farm Bureau Insurance and worked as a CSR. In 2006 my family and I relocated to my stomping grounds in Soda Springs, Idaho, where I started my career as a multi-lines claims adjuster. While at Farm Bureau I continued my schooling and obtained an Associates Degree in Claims. During my time as an adjuster I attended an Auto Estimatics School and then later attended a Residential Dwelling Damage Estimating school in Fresno, CA.
After 12 years as a field adjuster I decided I wanted a change of pace, and I joined the team at Mountain States Insurance Group. My focus and specialty at Mountain States Insurance is farm lines. I service farm accounts and go over policies in detail. I truly enjoy working on farm accounts and working with our local farmers. I have 22 years of experience in the insurance industry and look forward to many more. In my off time I enjoy camping, kayaking, working in my flower gardens, spending time with family and relaxing!
