Why Health Insurance?
When it comes to your health you can never be too careful, and with the rising cost of medical care, Health Insurance has become a top priority. In order to have your health expenses covered at a reasonable price, having the right insurance is a necessity. Although plans vary according to your needs, they can cover anything from medical and hospital expenses to prescription drugs.
While finding the right Health Insurance is not always an easy choice, representatives from Mountain States Insurance Group are committed to providing the knowledge and support you need to help you make the right decision for you, your family, or your business.
How Far Back Does Health Insurance Cover?
Each insurance policy comes with an effective date when coverage begins. The insurer is not required to cover healthcare services before the policy’s effective date. If you are responsible for submitting claims to your insurer, it’s wise to do so promptly.
If you sign up for group health insurance through your employer, you may receive a 30-day grace period after the effective date to complete enrollment. Premium payments are also back-dated to the enrollment date.
How Much Health Coverage Do I Need?
Choosing the right health coverage for your situation can be complicated. If you don’t have access to group healthcare through an employer, you can choose a health plan in the Marketplace, which is highly regulated and must conform to the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
Contact your agent to get help understanding your options. Plans may differ in coverage, quality and price.
At Mountain States Insurance Group, we provide health care insurance services near Smithfield, Logan, Ogden, Soda Springs, Malad City, and Grace.
