OUR HISTORY The roots of Mountain States Insurance Group, Inc. extend back to 1917 to a small rural town and to an independent agency servicing the insurance needs of its community. In 1970, the business traded hands and passed first to Continental Agency and later to Bailey, Martin & Fay -- a national, independent agency. In 1982, Mountain States Insurance Group (MSIG) purchased the Continental Agency from Bailey Martin & Fay and opened its first office in Grace, Idaho. Through the next two decades the office successfully serviced customers throughout Caribou County. In 2002, MSIG purchased the Bohn Agency in Malad and in 2008 further expended with a new location in Smithfield Utah. With roots primarily in agriculture, MSIG is focused on serviing the farmser and ranchers of south-eastern Idaho and northern Utah. |
